Getting Back on Track

The blog has been quiet for the past couple of weeks, since my laptop died. Now I am getting used my shiny new one. It is very pretty with a screen big enough for editing multiple documents (which I may need very soon!). I am not sure yet how I feel about Windows 8, or it may just be I do not like getting used to new things...

At least staying offline more gave me more time for finishing up old projects and starting new ones. So many things happening all at once. I went to the local CGOA group meeting last week, and someone commented, "That's the 3rd project I've seen you working on." I had several projects that just needed a few rows, and there are always more on the drawing board... exciting new things to come.

But now I want to get my Tutorial Tuesdays going again. With my second article and 2 new patterns using Reversible Intarsia just coming out this week in Interweave Crochet's Accessories issue, I am going to switch tracks and begin posting tutorials on the various steps of this new technique. I took a lot more step-by-step photos than would have been possible to fit into a magazine, and I want to provide as much information as I can to help people try the patterns using Reversible Intarsia.

Along those same lines, I have also started a new Group on Ravelry, for my friends and fans to discuss and get answers to any questions which come up. So if you are on Ravelry, please be sure to check out my group: ReCrochetions with Laurinda Reddig!

Now back to Tutorial making... Stay tuned and check out the magazine with my very first U.S. published pattern (how exciting to not only get published, but to have my article mentioned on the cover!)...
