Nymphaea Fall Shawl Retreat
(November 9th-11th 2018) - Crochet AND Knit
Join Laurinda Reddig and Michele Bernstein to Crochet OR Knit this gorgeous shawl. The asymmetrical Nymphaea shawl will help you learn about working with gradient yarns, changing colors, blocking, and adding beads and edgings to your knit or crocheted lace. The retreat will include hand-dyed gradient as well as beads from Bead Biz. Each year we choose a new Shawl designed by Laurinda to make for the fall shawl retreat. This year's shawl was a collaboration with knitwear designer Michele Bernstein of PDXKnitterati and Bead Biz and we are excited to team up to teach crocheters and knitters to make either version!
Color Choices for Nymphaea will be Surf and Sand, Dragonite,
Hummingbird, or Tidepods (clockwise from upper left)
Flower Power Spring Retreat (May 2019)
Think of the power a little flower can have to take something from ordinary to extraordinary! Learn to crochet an assortment of easy blooms to adorn a variety of projects and the best ways to attach them. Then choose a simple project or two to crochet and embellish with your flowers. The options are limitless: bags of all sorts, hats, tops, barrettes, headbands, even flip flops and earrings! Great for less experienced crocheters as well as experienced ones.
