Flower Power Spring Retreat, May 2019
Adorn your crochet or clothing with Flowers!
Flower Power Spring Retreat (May 17-19, 2019)
Think of the power a little flower can have to take something from ordinary to extraordinary! Learn to crochet an assortment of easy blooms to adorn a variety of projects and the best ways to attach them. Then choose a simple project or two to crochet and embellish with your flowers. The options are limitless: bags of all sorts, hats, tops, barrettes, headbands, even flip flops and earrings!

Flowers are a great way to practice working in the round, joining motifs, and reading stitch diagrams even if you have never read one before. Handdyed and cotton yarns and supplies for at least 3 small projects using the flowers will be included. A great retreat for beginning crocheters as well as experienced ones.

  1. This is on my "IWanna" Calendar!

  2. Hey, so, before I sign up I just want to check... the space the retreat will be held in: is it free of cats and dogs? I'm badly allergic (my lungs close up and I literally can't breathe), so this is make-or-break for me. Thank you!

    1. So sorry, but the owners do have 2 dogs and a cat. They keep them inside the main house during the retreats, but cannot guarantee a pet free space.
