Want to know more about the FIVE Easy Cowl Patterns coming this month?
Week 1: Cosmic Garden Cowl
Worked using one skein fingering weight yarn (435 yards) on a size G or H hook. Sample made in Shaggy Bear Farms BFL & Tussah Silk hand-dyed yarn. (Did you miss Week 1? This pattern now included as a gift when you sign up for my mailing list!)
Week 2: Twist & Spin Cowl
This quick and cozy cowl with a true infinity twist uses one skein chunky weight yarn (100 yards) on a size P (15mm). Sample shown uses Spincycle's Knit Fast Die Young yarn, which has long color changes that are shown off in this design.
Week 3: Cappricia Cowl
Made heavy worsted weight yarn (196 yards per skein) on a size M or N hook. Instructions for two sizes using one or two skeins. Sample shown in White Oaks Alpaca's 50/50% Alpaca and Bamboo yarn.
Week 4: Adore Me Cowl
Worked using approximately 200 yards of DK weight yarn. Sample shown used one of Lux Adore's Fun Size DK Bundles in 100% Cashmere yarn.
Week 5: Halloween Mystery Cowl
The final cowl for COWLtober is still a mystery. But will feature a very colorful Worsted Weight yarn from an awesome yarn dyer who just happened to move to my neighborhood last month, In The Deep Hue Sea. I will reveal the sample Cowl at the Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival, where we will both have a booth, the weekend before Halloween.
