Last week, Carissa and I arranged another Crafty Kids activity for the MOMS Club of Camas. With Father's Day approaching and a little internet search, Carissa found some fun crafts the kids could make for their Dads. Each child got to decorate:
- A Baseball Cap
- A "Dad Rocks" Rock
- and A Father's Day Card
We picked up plain baseball caps and small black river rocks from the Dollar Store, and puffy fabric paints from a craft store. Between us we already had paint pens (for the rocks), and supplies for making simple cards. As I have done with Valentine Cards, we pre-printed small cards with "Happy Father's Day" so the littlest kids could easily glue the message onto their cards and decorate the rest how ever they chose.
All of the children seemed to enjoy the crafts, and I am sure their Dads will appreciate something handmade just for them by their children, instead of yet another tie.
