There is just one more week until the clues begin coming for the Rose City Yarn Crawl's Mystery Crochet-Along (and Knit-Along)! Of course you can always sign up for the pattern any time. But to make the most of the Mystery Along experience, you should sign up now, and start choosing and swatching your yarn, so you are all ready for the first clue.
A few people have asked if they can join the Crochet-Along without joining Ravelry. Unfortunately, Ravelry is the only place to join along. But if you do any crocheting or knitting, you should already be a member! Besides, it is free and easy to sign up, and there are some very good reasons the Rose City Yarn Crawl decided to run their Mystery-Alongs through Ravelry.
Ravelry is actually the perfect venue for running a crochet along. Once you have purchased the pattern (only $6!), the Ravelry store is set up to automatically email you a new clue each week, as soon as they are released! They will also send you the introductory information as soon as you have made your purchase, so you know what yarn and hook size you need before the clues even begin.
So sign up already! The Yarn Crawl Committee has made such a significant effort to include us crocheters this year, that I really hope we will have a great turnout. If/when you do join, be sure to find the Rose City Yarn Crawl Group on Ravelry, and comment in the pre-crocheting MCAL thread.
