A Few of My Favorite Things: Yarn Fiction!

In August my Favorite Things Fridays posts will all be about my favorite yarn related fictions series. Commonly known as "Knitfic", but there is also one crochet series, so we will call it Yarnfic. I narrowed it down to my five favorites, and fortunately there are five Fridays in August.

You would think when I spend so much of my time thinking about yarn, designing and crocheting that I would want a break from it on the rare occasions I actually find time to read a book. But no, even my reading for pleasure is now centered around yarn. With the exception of the occasional new book by one of my favorite fantasy authors, I have been eating, sleeping, and even reading about yarn.

Spending my "free" time (if you have any of that when you work from home with children) reading stories about yarn keeps my brain working on new designs even when I am not "working". I have gained many an inspiration from reading these stories. Whatever your preference for pleasure reading, whether you like Mystery or Romance, there is something for you.
