Debbie Macomber Rocks!

To increase excitement about our Remembering Rowan Blanket Project this month, the Camas MOMS Bookclub is reading Debbie Macomber's The Shop on Blossom Street. In her "Letter to the Reader" at the beginning of the book, she talks about her work for Warm Up America and encourages "everyone to knit (or crochet) for Charity". So when I finished reading her book, I wrote her a 4 page letter telling her about Rowan and our project.

TODAY, I was surprised to find a box on my doorstep with a return label that read, DEBBIE MACOMBER. I excitedly ripped open the package to find a box filled with goodies: a thoughtful personal letter, a Knit Along with Debbie Macomber pattern book, a copy of her newletter, and enough bookmarks and packets of her specialty tea and coffee for our entire MOMS Club of 65 members!

This is going to be some bookclub! Thanks Debbie!

  1. I finally tried the coffee. It's pretty good! Caffeinated, so it's good to have around for when the moms come over, since I only keep decaf.

I'll have to bring my coffee maker over so you can try it!
